Pricing FAQs

❓ How does FindMyGuru work for teachers?

FindMyGuru helps you get students in two ways:

  • Students discover you through search (via subscription)

  • You connect with students by responding to requirements (via coins)

👉 This gives you both inbound + outbound lead generation

❓ Do I need to pay to get started?

No.

All teachers start with a free subscription plan to explore the platform.

After it expires, you can upgrade to continue getting visibility and access more features.

❓ Why do I need a Subscription Plan?

A subscription ensures your courses are:

  • Visible in student search results

  • Ranked higher based on plan and profile quality

👉 Without an active subscription, students cannot discover your courses organically

❓ What happens when my subscription expires?

  • Your courses will no longer appear in search results

  • You will stop receiving inbound student inquiries

However:

  • You can still view student requirements

  • You can still purchase and use coins

❓ Can I use FindMyGuru without a subscription?

Yes, you can still:

  • Browse student requirements

  • Buy and use coins

  • Connect with students directly

👉 But your courses won’t be visible in search, so you’ll rely only on outbound efforts

❓ Which subscription plan should I choose?

  • Basic Plan → For getting started

  • Growth Plan → For consistent monthly leads

  • Pro / Premium Plans → For higher visibility and competitive categories

👉 If you’re serious about getting students regularly, a higher plan gives better exposure

❓ Will a higher plan guarantee more students?

No platform can guarantee students.

However, higher plans provide:

  • Better visibility

  • Higher ranking

  • Increased chances of being contacted

👉 Your results also depend on your profile quality, Student Reviews, course pricing, and responsiveness etc.

❓ What are coins used for?

Coins are used to connect with students.

You spend coins when you:

  • Unlock a student’s contact details

  • Respond to a student requirement

👉 You only spend coins when you choose to engage

❓ Do coins expire?

No.

Coins never expire and can be used anytime.

👉 This gives you complete flexibility without pressure

❓ What happens if I don’t use my coins?

Your coins remain safely in your account until you use them.

❓ Why do larger coin packs give more coins?

We reward higher commitment with bonus coins.

👉 This reduces your cost per lead, making larger packs more cost-effective

❓ How many coins are needed per student?

👉 Typically, 100 coins are required to unlock a student lead.

This may vary from time to time. You’ll always see the exact number of coins required before unlocking a lead, so you can decide before spending.

❓ Do I need both subscription and coins?

They serve different purposes:

  • Subscription → Helps students find you (Inbound leads)

  • Coins → Helps you reach students (Outbound leads)

👉 Using both gives you the best results

❓ What if I only take a subscription?

  • Students can find you

  • But you won’t be able to unlock or respond to Potential leads without coins

❓ What if I only buy coins?

  • You can connect with students manually

  • But students won’t find you via search

👉 Best for teachers who prefer actively reaching out

❓ Are there any hidden charges?

No.

  • No commission on your earnings

  • No hidden platform fees

  • You only pay for what you choose

👉 100% transparent pricing

❓ Do you take a commission from my classes?

No.

You keep 100% of what you earn from students

❓ Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes, you can upgrade anytime based on your needs.

❓ Is there a refund policy?

Plans and coin purchases are generally non-refundable once activated.

Please refer to our Terms & Conditions  and Privacy Policy for more details.

❓ Will I definitely get students?

FindMyGuru helps you connect with real student inquiries, but like any marketplace, results can vary.

Your success on the platform depends on a few key factors:

  • Profile quality (clear details, subjects, experience, pricing)

  • How competitive your pricing is

  • How quickly you respond to student inquiries

  • Demand for your subject in your location/category

👉 Many teachers start seeing results when they:

  • Keep their profile complete and up to date

  • Maintain an active subscription for visibility

  • Respond quickly using coins

While we don’t guarantee students, FindMyGuru gives you a consistent opportunity pipeline—and teachers who actively engage with the platform tend to get the best outcomes.

❓ How can I improve my chances of getting students?

  • Keep an active subscription

  • Maintain enough coins to respond instantly

  • Add detailed course descriptions and pricing

  • Upload photos/videos if possible

  • Respond quickly to leads

👉 Faster response = higher conversion

❓ I’m not sure if this will work for me. What should I do?

Start with:

  • A basic subscription

  • A small coin pack

👉 Test the platform, understand how leads work, and scale gradually

❓ What if I don’t get enough leads?

You can:

  • Upgrade your subscription for better visibility

  • Improve your profile and pricing

  • Respond faster to increase conversions

❓ I already have students. Why should I use FindMyGuru?

FindMyGuru helps you:

  • Fill empty slots faster

  • Expand to new subjects or locations

  • Maintain a steady pipeline of students
